Do I have to download any third party software to use MYCOLLEGEi?
Other than Adobe® Flash® 9 and up (you can download the latest version here), there
is no third party software that you will need.
Note: If you are using Internet Explorer, please restart your browser after installing
Adobe® Flash®.
What kind of web browser should I use?
Any modern, standards-complaint web browser should work just fine, so you
can't go wrong with
Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer.

MYCOLLEGEi should work fine on any computer running Windows 98 and up, as well as
Mac OS X and Linux.

What is the technology behind MYCOLLEGEi?
It's a secure system and prevents other people from watching the video (in ways
they're not supposed to) or ripping the video off the site.
Is there a limit to the size of the videos I can upload?
Right now, the limit is 150 MB in size and no more than four minutes in length.
What kinds of video files can I upload?
We support these file formats: .avi .dv .mov .qt .mpg .mpg2 .mpeg2 .mpeg4
.mp4 .3gp .3g2 .asf .wmv .flv.

I am using commonapp.org to access the college application. How will commonapp affect my use of mycollegei.com?
Common Application members are able to include instructions on their supplements to click on MYCOLLEGEi and will provide access to your Common Application applicants. There is no additional integration needed other than a link from the Common Application to the MYCOLLEGEi link on your Common Application supplement.
