LikeLive –Our Story

In 2007 as my twin daughters were applying to college, I was frustrated at how few colleges offered interviews; not because they weren’t interested in my daughters’ ability to communicate and articulate what the paper application couldn’t – but because the cost of training, staffing and the sheer logistics of in-house interviews prevented it.

Having worked professionally in the digital world for many years, I knew there was a way to meet the needs of both the colleges and the students by providing a digital space for this new generation of tech-savvy applicants to post interviews that would allow them to be “real and engaging,” yet simple enough for busy colleges to easily access them.

After months of conversations with some of the country’s most respected representatives, we worked diligently to make sure LikeLive meets the needs of both the colleges and the students in the most thoughtful way. Our priority was that LikeLive be free and inclusive, a site that would benefit a diversity of students from all socio-economic backgrounds.

LikeLive now provides a simple and free way for all students to shine, above and beyond their grades and scores.
